Toyota Camry stalling issue?

I have a 1993, 4 cylinder, automatic, toyota camry. recently I had a friend of mine replace the head gasket because it blew. Since then the only trouble I've been having with the car is that it stalls after I floor it (if I have to get up to speed quickly, not necessarily putting the pedal all the way down). After i floor it it will start jumping, like it's out of gas, when I take my foot off the gas pedal. Once I stop or have to slow down the RPM's just drop and the car stalls. I can't get it to start in neutral after this, so I have to stop the car and turn it off then back on, then it will run fine again. If i let the car slowly get up to speed instead of flooring it, it won't stall. I've checked the vacuum hoses and they seem fine. What could be causing this?

My BFF & I are always getting into trouble together. We like to skip school and go hang out places. We've both been busted before for shoplifting and recently we were back in court due to truancy and a new shoplifting charge each. The judge decided to revoke the probation we'd received from the first shoplifting charge. He told us he could either send us to the detention center while we await our hearing on our new charges, or we could stay out if we and our parents agreed to certain terms. So what happened is, in order to make sure we stay out of trouble, we are to remain handcuffed together until the hearing. When this first began, school wasn't out, so a police officer would meet us at the steps to our high school and lock us together for the day. That way, we wouldn't be tempted to cut since we couldn't really go anywhere like that. We had most of the same classes anyway, so we only had to work out a couple transfers. Once school was out for the day, an officer would meet us outside to free us. On the weekends, we had to stay cuffed together for 24 hours a day. The chain on these cuffs is long enough that one of us can stand outside a bathroom stall or stand in the shower with the curtain drawn when we use the bathroom at one of our houses. Now that school is out, we're like this 24/7. We alternate sleeping over at each other's place, so each of our families get to see us. The only time we are now allowed to be separated is for 30 minutes in the morning while we shower and get dressed. Surprise checks insure we're never apart for any other reason. If we get caught out of them, we'll go straight to juvie. Our hearing is FINALLY coming up and that leads me to my question. Our lawyer says the judge could either send us to juvie for a year (since that was the length of our probation) or we could opt to stay like this for that length of time, or perhaps shorter. I don't know what to do. I don't really wanna go to juvie, but as much as I love my friend I don't think we wanna stay like this either. What would you do? How can this even be legal?

Experience with putting a cast on a horse?

I worked for a vet for four years and only ever saw one horse with a cast on. It was a young thoroughbred colt that was born with retracted tendons. He had surgery to correct the retracted tendon on one of his front legs and had a cast on it. He was unable to bend his knee, therefore was unable to walk on his own. There was staff with him around the clock to feed him milk out of a bucket, lift him to his feet and walk him around the barn aisle for exercise. He could walk with his other legs okay, but we had to loop a lead rope around the leg in the cast and pull it out to the side and place it in front of him with every stride. He then needed help laying back down. He needed tended to every two hours and we had to flip him over ever so often to make sure he wasn't always laying on the same side. Little Philip never "messed up" his cast. It was applied at the clinic immediately following his surgery but I imagine the vet could bring the supplies to your farm instead of having you trailer an injured horse. However, if you can afford it, you may want to trailer him in and let him stay with the vet for a while if it's an injury that severe and if he is as high maintenance with a cast on as Philip was. It was hard enough to care for him with a full staff of veterinary employees. I can't imagine trying to care for him on my own. But you have to keep in mind that every case is different. Just listen to your vet's recommendations, follow their instructions, and hope for a fast recovery!

Drove through puddle, car behaving strangely?

I drove through a puddle today, wasnt too deep, just enough to slow it down. But then going around a roundabout straight after it was a little sluggish getting around in 3rd gear. Then i parked at the shops and left the stereo on as y sister went and got something. It started fine. then going up a hill just after it lost all power in 3rd and 2nd, no revs at all, so had to go up in 1st. i then stopped and i was idling just under its normal idle rev count and was shaking like it does when it is about to stall, havent tried to start it for a few hours. it is still raining, will it be ok to get home? and will i be ok in general? does it just need to dry out? rev it out next time i start?

For the last two years I have gone to a six day (Sunday to Friday) hockey camp. Okay so I'm starting to get really freaked out because ive been reading all sorts of articles online about people's acceptance getting revoke. I failed marine biology for 1 term out of four this year causing my end of the year average to drop to a d+. However since the class is an elective, it does not count towards my gpa. Also I got accepted at Bryant which is a business school and they said they care mostly about core subjects. All my other grades are pretty consistent from previous years. The school asked to see my final transcripts at the end of the year. According to my guidance counselors they will only see final grades, not the F term grade. Also in the past I have had c's and c-'s on my transcript so I don't think a d+ is a drastic drop. Why wont my mini pocket rocket Grand Prix mx3 run?

I purchased my mini pocket rocket about 2 years ago and rode it a few times until it started to leak gas and wouldnt turn on again, its been sitting in my garage ever since. Recently i have decided to take it to a bike shop and get it fixed, the carbunetor has been flushed and cleaned. The motor is clean and is in very good condition, but there is still a few problems. The mini pocket rocket takes forever to turn on after a lot of pulling with the pull start, and when it finally turns on the bike wants to jump up and accelerate without me even touching the throttle, after that i try to ride the bike accelerating slowly and it moves a few yards and then stalls. I really need some help with this problem.

Side effects of eyebrow waxing?

I'm a 23 year old man with Mediterranean genes which means I have very thick, hairy, black eyebrows (think Eugene Levy). I've gone eyebrow waxing 4 times, once every 3-4 weeks. I don't get the arched, drag queen eyebrows, just a little grooming so I don't look so scary lol. and I think they look a lot better after the treatment but I'm worried about any side effects. Is it true that waxing pulls the skin and makes it sag? Also, does the waxed hair always grow back the same thickness, or will it thin out over time? My BFF & I are always getting into trouble together. We like to skip school and go hang out places. We've both been busted before for shoplifting and recently we were back in court due to truancy and a new shoplifting charge each. The judge decided to revoke the probation we'd received from the first shoplifting charge. He told us he could either send us to the detention center while we await our hearing on our new charges, or we could stay out if we and our parents agreed to certain terms. So what happened is, in order to make sure we stay out of trouble, we are to remain handcuffed together until the hearing. When this first began, school wasn't out, so a police officer would meet us at the steps to our high school and lock us together for the day. That way, we wouldn't be tempted to cut since we couldn't really go anywhere like that. We had most of the same classes anyway, so we only had to work out a couple transfers. Once school was out for the day, an officer would meet us outside to free us. On the weekends, we had to stay cuffed together for 24 hours a day. The chain on these cuffs is long enough that one of us can stand outside a bathroom stall or stand in the shower with the curtain drawn when we use the bathroom at one of our houses. Now that school is out, we're like this 24/7. We alternate sleeping over at each other's place, so each of our families get to see us. The only time we are now allowed to be separated is for 30 minutes in the morning while we shower and get dressed. Surprise checks insure we're never apart for any other reason. If we get caught out of them, we'll go straight to juvie. Our hearing is FINALLY coming up and that leads me to my question. Our lawyer says the judge could either send us to juvie for a year (since that was the length of our probation) or we could opt to stay like this for that length of time, or perhaps shorter. I don't know what to do. I don't really wanna go to juvie, but as much as I love my friend I don't think we wanna stay like this either. What would you do?

How excited were you for your first horse?

Hello! My life long dream has come true- and turned out way better then i ever hoped for. I love horses and live on a dairy farm so there is plenty of room, but my parents are so stubborn! All my life they tell me they are just hay burners, bring in no income like cows and are costly. Well i found out [since we make our own hay] its not THAT expensive. Recently i started getting back into horse lessons and was offered a GREAT deal! An elderly woman had just got brain surgery and was looking for someone to take care of her horse. Her husband has had back surgery and cant ride anymore and hurts to clean the stall. So everything is set up that if i clean the stall 3 times a week, i can ride and groom their beautiful 15 yr old brown and white paint mare whenever i like after i take a few more lessons. It's like owning [more like just caring for] a horse without having to pay for ANYTHING! They pay the vet bills, shots, feed and board, farrier..everything! I've read so many horse care books, learning all i could [and still learning more] just out of fascination and really wanting to know how to care for a horse incase it was possible to ever get one. She's such a beautiful girl and i fell in love with her already. I'll stop ranting now but i'm REALLY excited! I want to take the best care of her as humanly possible =]. I need to know the expenses of owning a horse?

Okay. well, I'm 13. I have a job, And will probably make like $2500 this summer. I have a friend who has her own barn in her backyard, no boarders. But they have an extra stall, and I was thinking i could board there like, really cheap. maybe $300-$400 per month. I want a horse pretty bad, and I've been around horses since i was 4, I know everything there is to know. I don't think I'd be getting a horse (if i get one) until I'm in 9th grade. I'm going into 8th currently. This way, I could take my friend's bus over to her barn after school at like 2:15, and my mom could pick her up on her way home from work at 4:00. Why is my Nissan Xterra (2000) stalling?

So, there are these two guys that I really like. One who I have been talking to for a while now and he's ready to start a relationship, and the other guy is someone that I have always liked since I was younger, we've always had a crush on each other, but he was always to immature, and had a players mentality, never wanting to commit, so I had pretty much given up on him for the time being, but three years have passed since then. So that guy moved away for about a year, but now he's back, and I can tell he has matured a lot and it seems that he's changed his ways. And that's kind of what I've always been waiting for, for him to grow up and commit to someone if he really wants them. And now here he is living back here, and ready to commit to me, and of course I'd be all for it if I didn't have this delima with this other guy. So the other guy, like I said I've been talking to for a while now, and I really like him too, and he's definitely not the player type, he's been ready for a relationship for a while, I'm the one stalling this time. I feel like I could like the other guy a little more though, and maybe its because I've known him for so long. I just feel like whichever I choose, I'm going to miss out, and I know I am, because they both have different qualities. I'm a 16 year old female who lost my father to Leukemia almost two years ago. Ever since then, I've been having noticeably different emotions. I get easily angered and cry over almost anything. I also recently lost literally all of my friends when they started to betray my trust. They also tormented me through cyberbullying and writing degrading things about me on the bathroom stalls. That seemed to make everything worse. I am also almost always alone, since my Mother has to work all hours of the day to support our family. So, with her being gone, I have no one to confide my problems to. I do see a counselor every two weeks, and I have requested to see her more, but she denies my requests. I also see a psychiatrist and am on 150 milligrams of Zoloft, which also does not seem to be working, and he too denies my request to try a different medicine or higher dosage. To make things worse, my only friend, who is also my boyfriend, is now thousands of miles away to visit his father, and does not wish to talk to me, much less listen to what I have to say. We have been dating and bestfriends for almost three years now, and I do believe my mental state has jeopardized us from becoming closer, and in fact, is most likely making me lose him. I feel helpless and hopeless, and sometimes I take my prescription pain pills from surgery to ease the pain and escape reality. I also try to over-dose on my Zoloft or Tylenol in order to maybe pass out, since I am unable to sleep at all anymore. Although I may have problems, I'm not stupid and I know what I'm doing is wrong and I do understand I need help desperately. I want to check myself into a mental hospital, but I don't want to leave my Mom behind and hurt her. She is taking the loss of my Dad pretty hard too. But I am also concerned that if I don't get help, I may end up killing myself despite my strong belief against it, and then my Mom would never see me again. Please help. What should I do?

Jet Ski has leak and engine compartment filled with water. Now wont start?

Also, my engine compartment filled with water and my engine stalled. i hope water did not get into my engine and it was just my battery that shorted because of all the water. Help with car problem?

My car has been acting weird for over a year now. When I'm idling, it's like it's almost going to die. It'll idle fine, then it will sort of "sputter". That's really the only way I can describe it. I've been starting it every morning just to see and it started perfectly, only now this morning, the engine was knocking, when it first stalled and i tried to start it, a lot of smoke came from the exhaust it was like a black blue mix. blue smoke has been coming from the exhaust a little but only when accelerating and it ran fine anyway, someone told me that means there's a burnt piston ring. if that is the case, would it burning more make the car stall completely? and why did it all of a sudden start knocking?

I don't know anything about vehicle mechanics. Why does the rider need to ease out the clutch to the friction zone and apply throttle? (if the clutch is let out without throttle the bike stalls). all i know about clutch is that when the clutch is in, there is no communication between engine and transmission.

Please help. I went overdrawn by �5 and was charged �85 pounds. I do not know how they worked that out , but that was my problem for going overdraft. I had just �20 in my account so my balance went to -�65. Two months later, there is a charge of �75 on my account for going overdraft by �65( from the balance of �85 charges ). The judge decided to revoke the probation we'd received from the first shoplifting charge. He told us he could either send us to the detention center while we await our hearing on our new charges, or we could stay out if we and our parents agreed to certain terms. So what happened is, in order to make sure we stay out of trouble, we are to remain handcuffed together until the hearing. When this first began, school wasn't out, so a police officer would meet us at the steps to our high school and lock us together for the day. That way, we wouldn't be tempted to cut since we couldn't really go anywhere like that. We had most of the same classes anyway, so we only had to work out a couple transfers. Once school was out for the day, an officer would meet us outside to free us. On the weekends, we had to stay cuffed together for 24 hours a day. The chain on these cuffs is long enough that one of us can stand outside a bathroom stall or stand in the shower with the curtain drawn when we use the bathroom at one of our houses. Now that school is out, we're like this 24/7. We alternate sleeping over at each other's place, so each of our families get to see us. The only time we are now allowed to be separated is for 30 minutes in the morning while we shower and get dressed. Surprise checks insure we're never apart for any other reason. If we get caught out of them, we'll go straight to juvie. Our hearing is FINALLY coming up and that leads me to my question. Our lawyer says the judge could either send us to juvie for a year (since that was the length of our probation) or we could opt to stay like this for that length of time, or perhaps shorter. I don't know what to do. I don't really wanna go to juvie, but as much as I love my friend I don't think we wanna stay like this either. What would you do?

My car stalls when stopping after driving it for 30+ miles?

I drive a 1998 suzuki Sidekick sport with 2000 chevy tracker engine in it, its been running fine up until this point however it has recently started to stall after I drive it for a few dozen miles and then come up to a stop. It does have a small oil leak but I don't think that's the problem (I am going to top off the oil soon though). I suggest since that fuel filter hasn't more then likely been changed in awhile try changing it and testing the fuel pressure at the pump and the fuel rail.What could be happening is the fuel filter is dried up inside and at idle there isn't enough fuel pressure to keep it idling and when driving it at higher speeds it runs okay.

Is my car running too hot?

How bad must your senior year grades be for a college to revoke your acceptance?

I'm rather concerned that my college will revoke my acceptance. I have been admitted and enrolled to UNC Charlotte, and have also been accepted into their School of Architecture, which accepts no more than 52 applicants out of over 300. As much as I begged my high school counselor to switch up my schedule, I ended up having all electives first semester and all core classes second semester of my senior year. Needless to say, I had no problem with first semester, all A's and one C (in precalc, so I guess it wasn't ALL electives, but close). My second semester I made C's straight across the board, but I had three honors classes and an AP, which was a huge workload for me. My grades have always been rather average, but my SAT and ACT scores were outstanding, which is what I think actually got me into the School of Architecture haha. But I was wondering, I'm about to send my final transcript in, do you think that they might revoke my acceptance? I feel like they might if I declared my major as undecided, but since I've been accepted into the most prestigious School at the university (which requires us to spend HUGE amounts of money on laptops, drafting supplies, CAD programs, etc.), there's a better chance that they would not revoke my acceptance. Can early labor stop?

I went to labor and delivery last night for contractions 4-5 minutes apart for about an hour and a half. The doctor checked and said i was only 75% effaced and baby was -2 station. She told me I was in early labor and warned me it could take up to a couple days for active labor to kick in and to go back when i can no longer walk or talk with contractions. I cant stop worrying that it will stop, is it possible for early labor to stall out?

Ways to make money for my stable?

The stable I ride at doesn't have a lot of money. The stalls need repairs, they need new halters and leads, and they basically need help! They do a lot of lessons and have a handful of boarders, but my trainer, who owns the barn, is so generous, and does a lot of discount fees and such. They also host the local University Equestrian Team and there is a fee for them, but many of the team, seeing as they are broke college students, don't pay. My trainer is SO generous, as I already said, and lets it all slide. I am wondering about ways I could help my barn make money? I don't want my precious barn to shut down!

Scam Collection Calls?

I received a call at work from a woman claiming to be calling from the State of Ohio IRS office asking where she can send a fax for tax levy. The number she called from was 412-921-5205, when I called it back the recording said "The number you dialed cannot be completed". Now this is not the first time debt collectors have called my jobb looking for former employees trying to collect on a debt, and I am wondering since the number this woman called from is fraudulent, my only guess is that it's a debt collector lying about who they really are. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to get my 11 month old to fall asleep in his crib because the only way to get him to sleep is rocking him and putting sesame street on. I'll be getting a job soon and will be levying him with his grandmother and I don't want her to have to do that every time. Every time I've tried he just cries and cries and as soon as I pick him up he immediately falls asleep in my arms. Transferring to a better high school but assistant principle won't let me?

If the school is within the district you are living the principle has no right to keep you within their school. The transfer of a child from one school to the next is the parents decision. Initially what the principle is doing holding you back is illegal. I think your family should look into why the principle is refusing transfer or bring it up with the superintendent?
